In the 3 days spent with you in PA I learned that you are determined and work hard, no matter what, to reach your goals.Ashley @ Coffee Cake and Cardiohttp://www.coffeecakeandcardio.com[email protected]tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4941587959251490759.post-47080196511811073572012-10-28T20:04:36.295-05:002012-10-28T20:04:36.295-05:00I feel like setting a specific goal gets my drive ...I feel like setting a specific goal gets my drive back. When I reach a goal I have been working on for so long it takes a while to get going again. If I set another big goal that I know is attainable it really helps to keep me moving.

I have also found that finding new running partners locally has really helped me to getting my drive back. This past year has been a year of running with friends and I am loving it.robinbbhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14815631233691872802[email protected]tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4941587959251490759.post-16583948472475390842012-10-28T19:19:17.214-05:002012-10-28T19:19:17.214-05:00Great goals girl! I have to have an end goal or I won't keep going...I wonder what I'll do after my 6 in 6 months goal and then a full...but living life itself is enough, be proud that you've don't some awesome things that not a whole lot of other people are doing! ;DKatSnFhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16752298077555288125[email protected]tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4941587959251490759.post-28877919149500056602012-10-28T16:42:36.283-05:002012-10-28T16:42:36.283-05:00Meeting Matt and reading his book has been SO insp...Meeting Matt and reading his book has been SO inspiring for me!! I think by saying your goals out loud (or writing them on here) is a great first step! Maybe sign up for some smaller races (5K), get a base time, then sign up for another and try to beat it - gotta [re]start somewhere!!! xoxoLinz @ Itz Linzhttp://www.itzlinz.com[email protected]tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4941587959251490759.post-53326196372449213132012-10-28T13:02:28.583-05:002012-10-28T13:02:28.583-05:00I tried to leave a comment a few minutes ago,but i...I tried to leave a comment a few minutes ago,but it said it didn't go through....so if the other comment shows up, oh well!

I am with you on the "blah-mess" issue! I have been TALKING a lot about working on getting back to a healthier lifestyle, I just haven't actually been DOING it!
I am 58 years old and I have been letting the "I'm too old to improve myself" crap get into my head! Of course, there a a lot of people in their 80's who are running and staying fit...so I guess I can't really use that one! I have to work more on my weight and just healthy eating, along with setting a new goal for my next marathon. Accountability? Yes....that's what I need! I get so much motivation from reading your blog, as well as some others'.
BTW, I am a Southern woman...stuck (um, I mean LIVING in Connecticut!)...I love a lot of things about CT, but the winter running can be bad!Pamela McCurry Robbinshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11126687916260627491[email protected]tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4941587959251490759.post-20208066229536822652012-10-28T12:26:02.231-05:002012-10-28T12:26:02.231-05:00I like your plan to race locally.
