But I have a hard time believing that the contestants are THAT clueless..it's REALITY TV.. you are under the eye and scrutiny of everyone. Not sure how I feel about the show. This show has been on for years and there is no way that a contestant doesn't know what it is like. But I do think that it gives people access to help that they may not be able to get and hopefully send them on a healthier path. Nothing about reality TV is real, I'm surprised people are still shocked by that. I liked this show when it first came out, but to be honest, I haven't seen it in a few years. (side note: I gave up TV a few years ago other than Netflix occasionally, and my life is much more productive because of it!) I don't necessarily agree with the message they are sending out, but if it motivates anyone to get up and better their life, then I'm cool with it. I stoped watching the show ages ago, but I did enjo it when I did. Is it healthy, I don't think so, but contestants are going on a show to lose weight AND win money.
