I hope you guys had a great New Years Day. My parents kept the kids so we rang in the New Years with my great friend Ambria, her husband and friends. We ended up going downtown to the moonpie drop (Yes, MOONPIE, only in Mobile, lol) and checking out the bar, club, and music scene.
It was such a fun night. Downtown Mobile has a great night life. However I have come to realize I am too old to stay out so late. LOL!
Ok so I am getting ready for race season to start, first up is Rock n Roll New Orleans on Jan 25th. If you are thinking about running it, here are a couple discount codes for you to take advantage of...
I am looking forward to checking out the new 10k this year. Its almost the weekend and the kiddos go back to school next week. Training starts and so does the diet. I managed to lose a couple lbs the past couple months since Ironman Augusta. I am happy about that one for sure. It nice to start back heavy training and not having to lose the lbs I gained over the winter.
My goals for this year is too finally lose that last 25lbs I have been wanting to lose for the past 3 years. I am determined that 2015 will be my year. I also want to get back into racing more. I raced bug races in 2014, but not a lot. This year I am stepping it up a notch, so stay tuned....
What are your goals for 2015?
see ya in a few weeks!
