Rock n Roll New Orleans Special Announcement... Its a 10K!!!

I've got some great news you guys!
Rock n Roll New Orleans just announced a new race during #RnRNola marathon weekend January 25th, 2015.Check it out...


That's right you guys. It's a 10k. I am super excited that they added the 10k option to this epic weekend. I am hoping this will open this great race up to a lot of my friends that either aren't ready for a half or can't run the distance. The 10k (6.2 miles) is a great distance for those of you that run 5k's to take it to the next level.

Rock n Roll New Orleans has been one of my favorite races for the past 3 years. I have done every option that they offer. You can ready my recaps for the Marathon, Half Marathon, and Relay. Now I am considering doing the 10k, just to experience all that RNR Nola offers.

If you know anything about New Orleans you'll see that the this course is awesome in the fact that you run straight through the French Quarter, down Esplanade, and in to City Park. For me this is the best part of the half and full course. If you are not familiar with the map, the French Quarter area is right through the heart of New Orleans where the famous Cafe Du Monde is and where the best crowd support is on the course...
