This morning I headed to the Y for a quick 1/2 mile swim and spin class. I have been loving spin classes lately. Its such a great kick start to my morning cardio.
Anyways I had a GREAT weekend watching this little girl swim in her last swim meet of winter swim.
She has become a little fish in the short 6 months she has been swimming. I am super proud of my baby girl.
Last night I signed up for probably the biggest race I have ever done. PARIS!!!
The decision was made and WE ARE GOING! That's right I was lucky enough to be picked in the drawing for the Paris Marathon. I was so excited especially since I was denied an entry in the London marathon lottery:( Then I had to get the OK from the hubby. AND guess what, he said LETS DO IT! YAY!!!!! Love this guy...
So with that being said I have some crazy trips going on in the next year and its going to be pretty EPIC.
Ill be in Boston in June with Runners World for the Heartbreak Hill Half and Festival. I have a discount code for you if your going to be there, or want to come hang out with me:)...
Then I will be in Augusta GA in September at the Ironman 70.3 swimming the 1.2 miles in a relay with my girl Nicole and Laura. I am so excited about this race. I have actually never done a swim race as an adult. The fact that I am just doing the swim leg makes it pretty cool that I can go all out and swim hard.
And now as of last night...
I am so excited about these upcoming racecations. If you are going to be at any of these races, I would love to meet you. Until tomorrow...
Do you have racecations coming up?
Swimming is a great sport for staying healthy and fit, I think it is good that your daughter has taken up the sport at such a young age. The Paris marathon sounds really exciting! Wish I could go.
