Its 90 degrees down here on the Gulf Coast, so I thought I would make a frozen treat for my kids. I had seen this yummy treat on The Lean Green Bean blog that this fabulous girl named Lindsay writes. I love her blog, check it out. She also started a Foodie PenPal group that I joined this month, I cant wait to receive my box of goodies. Anyways here is the link to her recipe, Chocolate Dipped Frozen Yogurt Bites, Here is my version...
Frozen Greek Yogurt Granola Bites
You'll need:
1 lg container of Greek vanilla yogurt (I used Chobani)
1 package of plain granola (I used Back to Nature)
2 ice trays
chocolate for dipping
Mix ingredients in large bowl, spoon into ice trays, place in freezer for atleast 6 hours, dip in chocolate, ENJOY:)
(plastic spoons or sticks stuck in while freezing would have been better for eating)
So good, and nice and healthy for those hot summer days.
Oh AND kid approved, lol
